The Morton Family
In the darkroom that has no light on, with the help of the moonlight, one could see the eyes of the man in black were as deep as the sea, the slightly curly black hair hung slightly over his eyebrows, and his eyes reflected a stern light under the moonlight.
At this time, his phone rang, and he picked it up. In the empty room, he heard a voice from the other side of the phone,
"Raif passed away at 3:50 this afternoon and was discovered by his neighbor Tiago Tucker."
"There was Martin Murray from the Murray family, Wade Murray, Martin’s son, Martin's niece Susie, and assistant Cielo."
"As for the bones under the football field of Wisdom Elementary School, the police records show that Raif called before he died, and he suddenly remembered that there were bones buried under the playground."
The man in black sneered.
He didn't believe that.
"Why did people from the Murray family come here?"
The person on the phone said, "They were originally going to the Tucker family."
After the other side finished speaking, the man in black said coldly, "Check everyone who came here today, and send me their profiles."
After he finished speaking, he hung up the phone and stuffed the phone in his pocket casually.
His name was Kellen Morton, and the name was given by his grandfather.
And his grandfather died eighteen years ago.
Before the sacrifice, his grandfather entrusted Uncle Raif, a businessman who happened to meet him, to find him.
It was only after lots of investigation that he found out about this matter, but it was a pity that it was too late. He had important matters to ask Uncle Raif, but now he would never be able to.
Kellen stood up and quickly disappeared into the night.
Susie slept soundly that night.
She dreamed of a man who was taller than the door frame, and he said he was her father, but when he entered the door, his head hit the door frame with a bang.
Susie giggled.
When Mitch came back from the outside, he saw her sleeping soundly and didn't know what she was dreaming of. Susie giggled, revealing two sweet dimples.
Mitch dressed in a white robe, and with a rare gentle smile on his slightly pale and beautiful face, he stroked Susie's hair.
"Silly girl."
Susie didn’t wake up until nine o'clock, and Alana quietly opened the door and came in, seemingly anxious to make sure that her sweetheart was still there.
But Susie had already brushed her teeth, washed her face, changed her clothes, and was putting on her shoes.
"Grandma, good morning!" Susie gave a big smile.
Alana's mood suddenly seemed to be illuminated by the sun, she smiled, "Baby, why did you wake up so early?"
Susie said, "Alex told me to get up!"
Outside the balcony, Alex was lying on the window, shaking his head and singing at the top of his voice, "La la la la la la la la la la la, twinkle twinkle little star! How I wonder what you are!"
The corner of Alana's mouth twitched.
She disagreed when Martin said that the next room would be a tropical rainforest view room with a balcony because she thought the parrot was too noisy.
Her baby Susie was still growing up, and she needed to sleep well, what if a rattling sound in the middle of the night woke her Susie up?
Alana was nagging, complaining that Martin was not sensible as an adult.
Susie couldn't help laughing, took Alana's hand, and followed her wheelchair out.
"Grandma, Alex won't be noisy when he sleeps at night."
Like humans, parrots cannot see at night without lights.
They went to sleep at night and were quiet all night, unless someone poked them or it was in danger, then they would squawk.
On the first floor, Martin, Hamza, and Wade sat at the dining table having breakfast.
One was looking at the tablet and doing business.
One held a newspaper and read the news.
One was holding an arithmetic book, thinking while eating.
They all did their own thing and had nothing to say to each other.
Craig Murray put the teacup aside and said with an annoyed face, "You should eat when it’s time to eat! Stop doing other unrelated things!"
Since Susie came back, the Murray family didn't have a 'morning meeting' for a long time.
Craig Murray was a rigid and serious person. He hardly talked at ordinary times, and everyone had to restrain themselves when he spoke.
Martin put down the tablet, Hamza and Wade put down the notebooks and newspapers in their hands, and then they heard the sound from the stairs, Wade thought it was Susie, and immediately turned his head.
But he only to see Lucy run down dragging her slippers.
She looked around and asked, "Where's Susie?"
Lucy secretly sulked, she didn't catch up with Susie again?
She didn't see her yesterday, but Susie still went out early in the morning today?
Wade sneered, "Tsk, the princess got up early today!"
Lucy snorted angrily, turned around with an unhappy face, and was about to go back to the room, not wanting to have breakfast at all.
Craig frowned, "So rude, you should greet your family! Go to bed after breakfast!"
Martin said lightly, "Dad, don't be so strict."
Craig sneered, "I'm strict with everyone!"
Lucy walked over dragging her slippers, she didn't want to eat breakfast, not at all, she didn't even have the habit of having breakfast.
Then the elevator flashed, and Susie and Alana came out.
Lucy's eyes lit up, but she quickly took a bite of the bread pretending to be nonchalant.
Susie said happily, "Good morning, Lulu, good morning brothers, good morning uncle, good morning grandpa!"
Craig nodded and said softly, "Good morning, Susie."
Hamza and Wade looked at their tough grandpa immediately, and so did Martin.
Strict with everyone?
Craig coughed, looked at his watch, and said, "Susie, it's nine o'clock, you should get up earlier! Do you know?"
Alana controlled the wheelchair and came over. While filling Susie with milk, she glared at Craig, "Why are you yelling? Do you think you are still the leader of the group?"
Craig pursed his lips.
Susie smiled and said, "I see, Grandpa, from now on I will wake up very early, like at 5."
Craig said, "There's no need to be that early."
Martin, Hamza, and Wade looked at him again.
Craig just kept silent.
After breakfast, Martin took Susie to the Morton Family.
Yesterday, Raif said that Susie's father's surname was Morton, and they decided to pay a visit after a discussion.
Assuming that Susie really was related to the Morton Family, there was no reason for them to hide Susie's existence and make decisions for Susie selfishly.
One of the Morton Family happened to be 25 or 26 years old. It was said that he was the nephew of a small branch of the Morton Family, and he lived under the eaves, which was basically consistent with what Raif described.
Where the Morton Family was near the Stevenson Family.
But the Stevenson Family was located in a military area, and the Morton Family was located in a wealthy area where business and politics gathered.
The car drove slowly across the street, Susie leaned against the window, and suddenly let out a gasp.
Outside the street, a woman in red was waiting for a traffic light.
