Two People on the Air Conditioner

Zion subconsciously turned his head and looked towards the door of the neighboring room.

His reflex was too long, and he watched as the door creaked open and slowly moved backward.

The crosswind was so strong that their own room's door had just been blown open with a bang.

But the door of the neighboring room seemed to be slowly opened by someone pulling it from behind.

The door opened a third of the way and stopped. Zion froze, and the door also froze in place.

It felt like an invisible person was holding onto the door handle, leaning against the door, and staring at him.

Zion's scalp tingled, and he pushed the door hard, "Susie, open the door..."

Oh no, damn it all!

The door of the neighboring room still didn't move, and the sound of the wind whistled past, making it feel like someone was laughing next to his ear--it was laughter, not crying.

He wasn't afraid of ghost crying, but he was afraid of ghost laughter.

Zion pushed harder, suspecting that Susie was doing it on purpose.

At this moment, the door finally opened with great difficulty, and Susie gasped for breath and said speechlessly, "Brother, the door opens outward!"

He had pushed so hard that she almost couldn't open it. "Brother, you're too strong...,” said Susie.

Zion didn't have time to care about that and quickly went inside.

Perhaps people would burst with potential under extreme fear, and Zion didn't even know how much force he had just used to push the door.

Inside the room, his tense face finally relaxed a bit, and he cursed inexplicably, "What kind of hotel design is this? The door opens outward?"

The corridor was so narrow, and if everyone opened their doors outward, how could anyone pass through?

Susie nodded, "Yeah, the design is very unreasonable."

The long and narrow corridor was ominous, with the doors facing each other, creating an obstacle. It was as if this building was not designed for people to live in...

Zion looked around the room, and at first glance, the decoration was quite nice.

The white walls were clean, and there was a small living room with a beige sofa.

The curtains were double layered, with only a layer of white gauze left on the main fabric, which was gently swaying in the wind.

A cloud-shaped coffee table was placed next to the round and plump sofa, making the creamy design appear even cleaner and softer.

But Zion didn't feel comfortable looking at it. He sat down on the sofa casually and sank into it.

He complained, "It looks good, but in reality, the decoration is too fake."

The good sofa should be soft but not saggy, with good resilience and comfortable fabric.

Now, when you sit on this sofa, it sinks down, and the fabric feels uncomfortable.

Looking closely at the round coffee table in front of you, you can even tell that it was coated with low-quality paint.

This is a typical case of "false advertising." It looks good in photos, but it's not comfortable at all when you actually live here.

Susie took out the things from her suitcase, first taking out a pair of cute yellow duck slippers to wear.

Then she took out Zion's slippers, two sets of bed sheets and comforters, two sets of clothes, a bag of "equipment," towels, toothbrushes, and other daily necessities, as well as a large bag of snacks...

Zion was stunned to see how she managed to fit so much into such a small suitcase.

Susie ran around in her slippers, putting everything away, and even took the time to comfort Zion, saying,

"Brother, hang in there! If you feel bored, we can go next door and check it out."

Zion remained silent.

Go next door to check it out?

"Why?" he was very puzzled.

Do they have to catch every female ghost they encounter?

Can't he just stay at the Murray family and put up ten or eight talismans to ward off evil spirits?

Why do they have to come and catch ghosts?

Susie said, "If we don't catch her, she will keep bothering you.

You will have nightmares, become weaker and weaker, even get sick, have mental confusion, neurosis, vitiligo, epilepsy, kidney deficiency, toenail fungus..."

She counted on her fingers.

Zion, "Stop @#$%...!"

What a bunch of nonsense!

Susie said, "Anyway, according to our master, it's better to be safe than sorry.

It's only a matter of time before the ghost catches up with you. We need to deal with the problem at its source."

Zion asked, "So what should we do? Can't we just invite her to come over and catch her in Los Angeles?"

Susie exclaimed, "Why didn't I think of that?"

Zion said, "So let's go back right now."

Susie shook her head and said, "No."

Zion covered his face, grabbed his hair, and asked, "Why not?"

Susie said, "We can't get a refund for the room, and it would be a waste of money if we didn't stay."

Zion remained silent.

Does he really need that little amount of money?

"I'll give you the money!" Zion became stubborn.

Susie still shook her head and said no, "What brother gives is what he gives, and what Dad helps with is Dad's.

If we take brother's money and don't stay at the hotel Dad has arranged, then Dad's money will be wasted."

At times like this, Panko's logic was crystal clear.

Besides, the divination on the day they visited Grandpa Turtle said they had to come - although she didn't know why.

Zion was exasperated.

The little princess of the Murray family, actually arguing over two days' worth of room fees...

Oh well, let's just say it's a thousand dollars for two days.

He would have to train for a day just to earn a thousand dollars...

Zion, who had been earning his own money early on, knew how hard it was to make money, and he and Susie came to an agreement over these thousand dollars.

Anyway, since they were already here...

Seeing Susie busy, he walked over unkindly, grabbed her collar and looked at her with disdain, "Go away, I'll take care of it. Look at the mess you made."

Susie said, "It's not messy!"

Zion snorted, "I don't like people touching my things."

He took out his own things and "conveniently" organized Susie's things as well.

With nothing to do, Susie had to go play with Alex.

"So, brother, can we go to the next room tonight?" Susie asked as she opened the birdcage.

Zion frowned, "Can't it be tomorrow, when it's bright outside?"

Susie shook her head, "Ghosts only come out at night!"

Zion remained silent.

"Go die and be reincarnated early."

Alex came out of the cage, walking with a zigzagging gait, wandering around here and there.

"Ah, it's so cool here..." It repeated the same sentence, but this time it added a few more words at the end,

"There are people here, people there, and there are people under the bed... Oh, there are two people on the air conditioner!"

Zion was about to make the bed when he instantly became irritated.

He took a step back and then gritted his teeth in front of Susie's puzzled gaze, holding his toiletries and walking towards the bathroom.

"Ah, there's an aunt in the bathroom!" Alex said.

"Shut up!" Zion couldn't take it anymore.

Susie looked at him curiously and then turned to ask Alex, "Where are the people on the air conditioner?"

"They're the shameless ones who only wear shorts!" Alex replied.

Zion thought to himself, "That's the Haier brothers!"

Susie asked again, "There's nobody under the bed!"

Alex flew down and brought up a name card from under the bed.

The card read "Foot-washing Service. Wash your feet all night long" and featured a girl dressed in cool clothes.

"Ha-ha, there are people, there are people!" Alex said.

Zion thought, "That's a shameless name card!"

He took his toothbrush and towel and walked towards the bathroom, glancing at the promotional flyer on the bathroom door.

An auntie smiled and reminded people to be mindful of fire and electrical safety.

So, when Alex said there was an auntie in the bathroom, was it referring to this?

But he didn't notice Susie suddenly blink her eyes, staring intently and exclaiming, "There really is an auntie here..."
